Dave Karam has been promoted to Director of Club & Golf Operations at Silverado Resort
Silverado Resort in Napa Valley is pleased to announce the promotion of Dave Karam from Director of Golf to Director of Club & Golf Operations. Part of the Silverado Resort team for nearly a decade, Dave brings a unique blend of management strategy, hospitality expertise, and a deep-rooted interest in the industry to the Napa Valley destination. In his new role, he will oversee all aspects of the Club at Silverado - including Golf, Membership, and Agronomy - in addition to serving on the resort’s Executive Committee.
His vision for Silverado’s future is inspired by his early experience in the industry and a professional background that took him from the East Coast to Napa Valley. Dave’s hospitality roots began in his native Boston, where he spent his teenage years caddying at a local golf club and working in a yacht club kitchen. This hands-on experience complemented his athletic pursuits, as he was a dedicated competitive golfer throughout high school. Following a successful career in sports management, Dave ventured to California in 2016, returning to his roots in hospitality at Silverado Resort as an Assistant Golf Professional. He later stepped into the Merchandise Manager position at the golf shop before being promoted to Golf Operations Manager in 2019 and to Director of Golf in 2025.
