Yannick Alléno has been appointed as Culinary Director at COMO Le Beauvallon
As COMO Le Beauvallon prepares to reopen on 24 April 2026, COMO Hotels and Resorts has announced that Chef Yannick Alléno will lead and define the property’s entire culinary identity, marking a major milestone in the rebirth of one of the French Riviera’s most storied Belle Époque estates.
Inaugurated in 1914 on the shores of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez and dormant since 2008, COMO Le Beauvallon will enter a new era as a ten-acre Mediterranean sanctuary. Alléno—one of the most influential figures in French cuisine worldwide—has been selected not for a single restaurant concept, but for the breadth of his vision across the entire estate. With 21 restaurants around the world, he brings a global perspective and a concept-driven approach that will position COMO Le Beauvallon as a defining culinary destination of the French Riviera for summer 2026.
As part of this appointment, Alléno will helm the estate’s signature waterfront restaurant, Beauvallon Sur Mer by Yannick Alléno, while overseeing all dining experiences across the property—from breakfast to rooftop cocktails, poolside moments, and in-room dining—working alongside Executive Chef Adel Mannai.
Alléno’s culinary direction will unfold across a collection of distinct yet complementary venues designed to guide guests from sunrise through late evening. These include Beauvallon Sur Mer by Yannick Alléno, where Asian culinary traditions meet the bright, expressive flavours of the Mediterranean; the Winter Garden, a Belle Époque-inspired setting with Mediterranean and Niçoise influences; and the Riviera Terrace, an open-air lounge designed for cocktails and refined garden dining. Several of these venues will welcome both hotel guests and external visitors—an intentional choice to make COMO Le Beauvallon a vibrant destination rooted in its territory and open to the world.
