Julia Harripaul has been appointed as General Manager at Sapphire Sands Villas by Bay Gardens Resorts
Bay Gardens Resorts, Saint Lucia’s premier locally owned and operated hospitality group, today announced that Ms. Julia Harripaul has assumed the role of General Manager of Bay Gardens Beach Resort & Spa and the newly opened Sapphire Sands Villas. This leadership appointment underscores the company’s commitment to delivering exceptional Caribbean hospitality and supporting the continued growth of its portfolio.
Ms. Harripaul, a citizen of Trinidad and a graduate of Les Roches, one of the world’s leading hospitality management institutions, brings more than 18 years of senior leadership experience across the Caribbean. She has a distinguished track record in revenue performance, guest satisfaction, and market positioning.
In her new role, Ms. Harripaul will oversee operations for Bay Gardens Beach Resort & Spa as well as the newly opened Sapphire Sands Villas on Reduit Beach, Gros Islet.
Most recently, Ms. Harripaul served as Resort Manager of Blue Waters Resort & Spa in Antigua, where she led a team of approximately 200 employees and drove higher-than-average occupancy through strategic travel advisor relationships and innovative marketing initiatives. Prior to that, she held senior roles at Hodges Bay Resort & Spa, where she was recognized for her dedication to team development, guest experience excellence, and cross-departmental collaboration. She also served as a board director of the Antigua & Barbuda Hotels and Tourism Association (ABHTA).
Daryl Aaron, former General Manager, will move on to lead a new Bay Gardens project, which will be announced this summer.
