Scott Berger has been appointed as General Manager at Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills

Today, Hilton (NYSE: HLT) announces the appointment of Scott Berger as general manager of the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, effective April 6, 2026. A seasoned hospitality leader with more than two decades of global luxury experience, Berger will oversee all aspects of the hotel, further elevating the property’s reputation as one of the city’s premier luxury destinations.

Berger most recently served as hotel manager of the newly opened Peninsula London, following extensive leadership training across the brand’s portfolio that broadened his global perspective on ultra-luxury hospitality. Prior to this, he refined his expertise at several Forbes Five-Star properties in Los Angeles, including a regional general manager role in which he oversaw the West Coast portfolio for a luxury hospitality group, guiding operations through the pandemic while strengthening community ties.

 

Berger began his career at a leading luxury hotel in Beverly Hills, where he spent 15 years developing a deep foundation in operations and guest experience, rising from assistant front office manager to hotel manager. This tenure reflects his enduring connection to Los Angeles’ cultural landscape and a longstanding commitment to the market.

 

Scott earned his B.S. in Hotel Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He previously held leadership roles in Beverly Hills civic organizations, including Chair of the Beverly Hills CVB (2023-24) and Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce Board Member (2020-24), and served as an active member of the Beverly Hills Rotary.

Scott Berger is an alumnus of University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) – Class of 2005.
