Michelle Armock has been appointed as Chef de Cuisine at Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco
Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco is pleased to announce the appointment of Michelle Armock as chef de cuisine of MKT Restaurant & Bar, the hotel's award-winning signature restaurant. In her new role, Armock will oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, menu development, and culinary innovation for MKT, working alongside Executive Chef Shaun Acosta to further elevate the restaurant's California-inspired dining experience.
Armock brings more than a decade of diverse culinary experience across luxury hospitality, high-volume restaurants, artisanal bakeries, and bespoke catering concepts throughout California and Arizona. Known for her strong leadership, creative approach, and dedication to seasonal, ingredient-driven cuisine, she joins MKT at an exciting time of continued evolution for the restaurant.
Prior to joining Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco, Armock served as executive sous chef at Betty Zlatchen Catering and sous chef at Fiorella in San Francisco. Her culinary background also includes roles at Truss Restaurant at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley, working under Michelin-starred Chef Erik Anderson; Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North; Model Bakery in Napa; Addison at The Grand Del Mar in San Diego; Tower 23 Hotel; and Marriott Del Mar's Arterra Restaurant, where she developed a well-rounded foundation in fine dining, high-volume operations, artisanal baking, and ingredient-driven cuisine.
Across every role, Armock has demonstrated strong leadership, a passion for seasonal ingredients, and a talent for building efficient kitchen systems while fostering a positive, growth-oriented team culture.
In her role at MKT Restaurant & Bar, Armock will focus on refining the restaurant's locally sourced menus, highlighting Northern California's rich bounty of ingredients, and delivering a dynamic dining experience that reflects both innovation and approachability.
