Geoff Gaumer has been promoted to Regional Director of Operations, Texas Market at PM Hotel Group
PM Hotel Group, a Top-15 hotel management company, today announces the promotion of Geoff Gaumer to Regional Director of Operations, overseeing the company’s growing portfolio across the Texas market.
Gaumer brings more than two decades of hospitality experience to his new role and has been a key leader within PM Hotel Group since joining the company four years ago. Most recently serving as Area General Manager, he has been responsible for overseeing multiple assets across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, consistently driving strong operational performance, associate engagement, and guest satisfaction.
Gaumer began his career in hospitality as a banquet houseman at a five-star resort in Wisconsin, building a foundation grounded in operational excellence. Over the course of his career, he has held progressive leadership roles including Banquet Manager, Director of Food & Beverage, Assistant General Manager, and General Manager before advancing to Area General Manager. In his time with PM Hotel Group, Gaumer has demonstrated a strong ability to drive financial performance while elevating the guest experience. His leadership has contributed to significant improvements across key metrics including revenue growth, profitability, brand satisfaction scores, and associate engagement.
Known for his collaborative leadership style, Gaumer is deeply committed to fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability, particularly focused on mentoring and developing talent. In his new role, Gaumer will oversee operational strategy and performance across PM Hotel Group’s Texas portfolio, supporting hotel teams in delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving long-term value for ownership partners.
