Martha Mayea has been appointed as Director of Sales at UNFRAMED, Autograph Collection
UNFRAMED, Autograph Collection, which officially opened its doors on April 1, announces the appointment of Martha Mayea as director of sales for the Washington Avenue property. Mayea brings over 18 years of experience driving catering, group, destination, and above-property revenue across premium and luxury hotels, with a deep understanding of the South Florida market. In her new role, she will lead sales efforts at UNFRAMED, Miami Beach’s newest lifestyle destination, located just steps from notable South Beach landmarks, ushering in a new era of hospitality for the market.
As a seasoned veteran of South Florida’s hospitality landscape, Mayea began her career with Marriott in 2008 at Doral Golf Resort & Spa, where she planned and executed corporate and social programs, supported conventions, trade shows, and large-scale group business. From there, she served as Senior Event Manager at Eden Roc Renaissance Miami Beach, where she was a key member of the opening and transition team for Destination Hotels & Resorts, managing high-end social and corporate events for up to 800 guests.
In 2013, Mayea joined the team at Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay as a Senior Event Manager, leading catering and event sales efforts, driving strong revenue performance and repeat business within the local market. She later held roles including Senior Catering Sales Executive and Destination Sales Executive at Marriott Connection at Miami Airport. Most recently, Mayea served as a Sales Specialist at MI Above Property Sales, supporting luxury, premium, and CRH hotels nationwide. In this position, she provided above-property topline sales support across a multi-property portfolio, supporting $40M–$75M+ in annual room revenue and working on key projects including W South Beach and Ritz-Carlton properties across major U.S. markets. In her role as director of sales, she will lead UNFRAMED’s strategic sales initiatives, driving demand and supporting continued growth in the Miami Beach market.
