Dolly Chandler has been named Director of Programming & Entertainment at Dolly Parton's Songteller Hotel
Announcing an exciting addition to its leadership team, Dolly Parton’s SongTeller Hotel has appointed Dolly Chandler as Director of Programming & Entertainment. A Nashville native with deep roots in the music industry and more than a decade of leadership in live entertainment programming, Chandler will lead the hotel’s entertainment vision, curating a dynamic slate of performances and experiences that celebrate storytelling through music.
In her new role, Chandler will oversee all entertainment and programming for SongTeller Hotel, including booking talent for live music, songwriter sessions, and special events across the property’s unparalleled entertainment venue, Parton’s Live, as well as Jolene’s, its sophisticated lounge. A respected industry professional, Chandler is known for her ability to balance artistic vision with business objectives. She has built lasting relationships across the industry and is recognized for delivering memorable live experiences that resonate with audiences.
Chandler joins SongTeller Hotel from Opry Entertainment Group, where she has served as Senior Talent Buyer since 2017. Prior to Opry Entertainment Group, Chandler helped launch and define the programming strategy at City Winery Nashville, where she booked more than 350 live events annually in an intimate 300-seat venue. Earlier, as Programming Director at The Franklin Theatre, Chandler led the booking and execution of more than 400 concerts, film screenings, and community events, playing a key role in elevating the historic venue’s profile following its renovation.
Born and raised in Nashville, Chandler began her career at John Prine’s Oh Boy Records following her graduation from Western Kentucky University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations. She also held roles in media relations and music publishing before focusing on talent buying and programming. Among her many unique experiences, Chandler participated in carrying the Olympic torch as it passed through Nashville en route to the 2002 Winter Games in Salt Lake City.
Chandler is an active member of SOURCE, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and advancing women in the Nashville music industry.
