Chris Ryan has been appointed as General Manager at L’Auberge Del Mar
L'Auberge Del Mar, the oceanfront Noble House Hotels & Resorts property standing in the heart of Del Mar, Calif, is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Ryan as General Manager. A seasoned hospitality leader with more than 15 years of luxury hotel and resort experience, Ryan brings a dynamic operational background, deep food and beverage expertise, and a proven track record of elevating guest experiences across some of the industry’s most respected hospitality brands. In his new role, Ryan will oversee all operations for the iconic coastal resort, guiding the property’s continued evolution as one of Southern California’s premier luxury lifestyle destinations.
Ryan joins L’Auberge Del Mar from Sheraton San Diego Resort, where he most recently served as Director of Food and Beverage. There, he led all food and beverage operations, spearheading large-scale operational enhancements, service training initiatives, and the re-concepting of key guest spaces and dining experiences.
Prior to that role, Ryan served as Director of Operations for both Omni San Diego Hotel and Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia, where he oversaw all resort and hotel operations, including food and beverage, rooms, spa, retail, and guest services. Throughout his tenure with Omni Hotels & Resorts, Ryan earned recognition for operational excellence, guest satisfaction, team engagement, and strategic leadership. He also served in interim General Manager assignments for multiple luxury resort properties, further solidifying his reputation as a trusted and versatile hospitality executive.
Ryan began his hospitality career with The Ritz-Carlton, Boston before continuing with The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain, where he held multiple food and beverage leadership roles supporting Forbes Four- and Five-Star operations and major PGA tournament events.
A Boston native, Ryan studied at both Boston University and Suffolk University before building a distinguished career in luxury hospitality operations and resort leadership.
