Andaz Turks & Caicos at Grace Bay, a design-driven beachfront resort and residential retreat positioned along Grace Bay Beach, is pleased to announce the appointment of Matt Skaletsky as its General Manager. A seasoned hospitality professional with over two decades of experience, Skaletsky brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the brand’s first Caribbean property.
In his new role, Skaletsky will lead all aspects of the resort’s operations, while championing a collaborative and service-driven culture across the Andaz Turks & Caicos at Grace Bay team. Focused on delivering thoughtful and memorable experiences, he will spearhead initiatives that deepen guest engagement, celebrate the destination’s natural beauty, and create a lasting positive impact.
Andaz Turks & Caicos at Grace Bay, now accepting reservations beginning June 2027, marks a new chapter for the brand, balancing serenity and energy, craftsmanship and modernity, and global hospitality standards with an authentic Caribbean identity. The 183-key resort combines contemporary coastal design with immersive island experiences, featuring architecture by RAD Miami and interiors by Modus Operandi A+P. Skaletsky’s career spans a range of leadership roles across the luxury hospitality industry, with experience at renowned brands including Montage and Ritz-Carlton. His expertise in food and beverage and culinary operations was developed at some of the industry’s most prestigious resorts. Most recently, he served as general manager of Hyatt’s Alila Ventana Big Sur, an intimate luxury retreat along California’s Big Sur coastline. Earlier in his career, he held positions across the Caribbean, the Florida Keys, Washington, D.C., San Diego, Aspen, and Maui, including overseeing food and beverage operations at a resort with more than 1,000 rooms. A graduate of Johnson & Wales University in Charleston, South Carolina, Skaletsky’s passion for hospitality began early and has guided his global career trajectory.
