An accomplished luxury hospitality executive with more than three decades of international experience, Simon will lead the opening of Rosewood’s highly anticipated Napa Valley estate. Born in Sweden, Simon joined Rosewood Hotel Group in 2021 and most recently served as Managing Director of Rosewood Phnom Penh. During his tenure, the hotel achieved significant global recognition, including ranking No. 30 on Travel + Leisure’s 2024 “100 Best Hotels in the World” list. The property also received multiple World Spa Awards for Sense®, A Rosewood Spa, recognition from Asia’s 50 Best Bars, and accolades for its sustainability initiatives. His earlier career spans senior leadership roles across the United States, Southeast Asia, Canada and Australia, including positions with Anantara, W Hotels, Celebrity Cruises and Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, after serving as a logistics officer in the Swedish Army
