Jan V. Hajek has been appointed as Senior Vice President at CHMWarnick

CHMWarnick, the leading provider of hotel asset management and owner advisory services, today announced that Jan Hajek has joined the firm as Senior Vice President. Based in Chicago, Hajek will provide asset management and strategic advisory services to hotel ownership groups across the firm’s expanding portfolio, while strengthening CHMWarnick’s presence throughout the Midwest. Working closely with the firm’s leadership team, he will advise clients and work collaboratively with management teams on operational performance enhancement strategies, capital planning, brand positioning and investment strategies   to optimize asset performance and portfolio value.

Hajek brings more than 18 years of experience in hospitality investment, asset management, and operations. Prior to joining CHMWarnick, he served as EVP, Asset Management & Investments at First Hospitality, where he oversaw operational performance, brand standard adherence, and guest experience across a $400M+ multi-branded hotel portfolio. Prior, he spent eight years at AJ Capital Partners, rising to Principal of Asset Management, where he was accountable for enterprise-level strategy across a 37-hotel international platform generating more than $600M in annual revenue valued at $2.5B+. During his tenure, he led the scaling of the Graduate Hotels brand from 10 to 35 properties and served as a senior leader in the brand's sale to Hilton, which was recognized as the ALIS M&A Deal of the Year in 2024. He began his career in progressive corporate and on-property finance roles at Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Marriott International. Hajek holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
