Valencia’s appointment signals a strategic move for the property as Salt Lake City’s luxury landscape undergoes a sophisticated evolution. As the market experiences an increase in global demand and a heightened appetite for bespoke travel experiences, Valencia’s mastery of high-level operations and his deep-rooted understanding of the IHG Luxury & Lifestyle ethos serve as a vital catalyst for the hotel’s continued growth and local influence.

Valencia steps into the position following successful assignments as Interim General Manager at both Kimpton RiverPlace Portland and Kimpton Pittman Dallas. Prior to his General Manager appointments, he served as Hotel Manager on the pre-opening team at InterContinental San Antonio Riverwalk.
