Rocky Rocha has been appointed as director of food and beverage at Magnolia Hotel Omaha
Rocha is an award-winning chef and hospitality executive with more than 25 years of leadership experience within hotels, casino resorts, upscale restaurants and banquet operations. Skilled in leading high-volume food and beverage operations while driving profitability, team performance and exceptional guest experiences, Rocha is a hands-on leader with a passion for taking care of people.
Rocha previously served as Magnolia Hotel Omaha’s executive chef from 2007 to 2012 and returns after gaining progressive culinary leadership experience with some of the Midwest’s premier hotel and casino properties.
This includes serving as executive chef at Horseshoe Casino, senior sous chef at Hilton Omaha, sous chef at Ameristar Casino and Harrah’s Casino and a member of the opening culinary leadership team for Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City. Prior to re-joining the Magnolia Hotel Omaha team, Rocha owned and operated Stadium 34 Sports Bar & Grill in Red Oak, Iowa.
