Daniel Strawn has been appointed as Director of Leisure Sales at Passport Resorts

Strawn brings a wealth of experience in luxury hospitality to Passport Resorts, with a career spanning hotel operations management and leisure sales at leading luxury hotel brands. Most recently, he served as Director of Business Development for Hyatt’s Alila Resorts, where he oversaw domestic and international leisure sales for Alila Napa Valley in St. Helena and Alila Ventana in Big Sur. Prior to Alila, Strawn was Director of Leisure Sales at Montage Healdsburg, where he developed distribution strategies and managed relationships across consortia, premium credit card and wholesale channels.

Earlier in his career, Strawn spent more than eight years with Marriott International at The Phoenician and Canyon Suites, a Luxury Collection Resort in Scottsdale, progressing through leadership roles in front office, housekeeping and travel industry sales. His experience across both commercial and hotel operations gives him a comprehensive understanding of the luxury guest journey and the relationships that drive successful leisure business.

In his new role at Passport Resorts, Strawn will direct strategic cross-selling efforts between the properties, while working closely with Post Ranch leisure consultants Bea Wolfe and Shane Forster, plus internal sales, revenue, and operations teams at both properties to align on domestic and international relationships. He will focus on expanding partnerships with luxury travel advisors in key feeder markets, representing Passport Resorts at industry trade shows, and supporting curated familiarization experiences to showcase the collection's distinctive properties.

Strawn holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Southern California.
