Jeff Moore has been appointed as EVP & Chief Technology Officer at Hilton

Hilton today announced Jeff Moore will join the company as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. He joins from Uber, where he served as Vice President of Software Engineering and led a global organization of 2,500 engineers supporting Uber Eats, Uber for Business, and the company’s growth and marketing technology. Moore will start on October 26, reporting to Chris Nassetta, president and CEO of Hilton, as a member of Hilton’s Executive Committee.

Moore brings more than 20 years of experience leading technology, engineering, product and operations organizations at global scale. At Uber, he led engineering organizations supporting Uber Eats, Uber for Merchant, Uber Direct and Uber Courier, Uber Advertising, Growth and Marketing, Uber for Business, and Applied AI. Before Uber, Moore held a series of leadership roles at Amazon.com. He was a founding leader within Fulfillment by Amazon and later led engineering and product organizations supporting Amazon’s device portfolio, including Kindle, Fire TV, Fire Tablet and Echo/Alexa products. Earlier in his career, he worked at Anheuser-Busch in software engineering and operations leadership roles. He holds three issued U.S. patents and serves on the board of Edmund Optics.

Through new product offerings like AI-powered trip planning to connect the journey from search to stay, as well as a fully modernized technology platform that allows rapid scaling of new guest-facing tools like personalized digital messaging, Hilton is utilizing technology to drive efficiency and profitability for owners while delivering guest customization at scale.
