HM Alpha Hotels & Resorts announces the promotion of Charles James to Hotel Manager at The Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa, a AAA Four-Diamond resort tucked against the foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains. The promotion strengthens the resort’s executive leadership team with a seasoned hospitality professional who has played an integral role in its operations and guest experience.
With nearly two decades of hospitality experience, James brings a broad operational background spanning roles as general manager, task force general manager, director of rooms, director of front office, director of operations and director of housekeeping. His experience across hotel operations has shaped an approach focused on operational excellence, associate engagement and memorable guest experiences. He joined The Westin La Paloma in July 2024 as Director of Hospitality and Hotel Performance, becoming an integral member of the resort’s executive team. As Hotel Manager, he will oversee resort operations while continuing to elevate the experience for guests and associates.
