Daryn Cyrus has been appointed as Managing Director at Heathman Hotel
Heathman Hotel is preparing for its next phase as it approaches its 100th anniversary in 2027, and has announced the appointment of Daryn Cyrus as Managing Director of the iconic Portland property.
Cyrus will oversee the operations and strategic direction of Heathman Hotel, leading efforts to elevate service and the overall stay, strengthen team culture and guide the property through its next stage of growth. She brings extensive experience in boutique and lifestyle hospitality, with previous leadership roles at Kimpton Hotels, Provenance Hotels and, most recently, Sage Hospitality. Her appointment also marks a return to Heathman Hotel, where she previously served as General Manager before departing in 2021. In her new role, Cyrus will work closely with the leadership and ownership teams to bring the hotel’s enhanced spaces and evolving food and beverage program to life.
Heathman Hotel continues to evolve, with recent updates including a fully refreshed lobby with new furnishings and bar service; the return of the hotel’s celebrated library to its original mezzanine home, now featuring expanded lounge seating; and restored design details that bring renewed attention to the building’s original architecture.
