Kerri Creedon has been appointed as Director of Food & Beverage at Kimpton Hotel Fontenot
Kimpton Hotel Fontenot, an award-winning lifestyle hotel in New Orleans’ Central Business District, is welcoming hospitality veteran Kerri Creedon as Director of Food & Beverage, ushering in a new chapter for the property’s culinary and cocktail program.
In her new role, Creedon will oversee food and beverage operations across Hotel Fontenot’s three concepts, King Brasserie & Bar, Peacock Room and Gospel Coffee and Boozy Treats, as well as Banquets and Catering. Her focus will be on strengthening each venue's identity, elevating the guest experience and investing in the teams behind them. An immediate priority will be unlocking the full potential of King Brasserie & Bar, further positioning the French-inspired restaurant as a dynamic culinary destination that captures the energy, spirit and hospitality of New Orleans.
Creedon joins Hotel Fontenot with extensive experience overseeing multi-venue food and beverage operations and supporting high-profile hotel openings across Nashville, Las Vegas, Denver, Atlanta and the Bahamas. Throughout her career, she has managed complex hospitality operations, guided teams through openings and operational transitions, and helped establish service standards and guest experiences across diverse markets. Beginning her hospitality career as a hostess in high school, Creedon steadily expanded her expertise, taking on increasingly complex leadership roles focused on developing teams, overseeing operations and creating memorable guest experiences. Her accomplishments include being named Manager of the Year for the state of South Carolina, a recognition that reflects her commitment to operational excellence and people-first leadership.
Under Creedon’s leadership, King Brasserie & Bar will build on its high-end interpretation of French cuisine, weaving in Southern influences while maintaining the soul of New Orleans. Its cocktail and wine programs further complement the culinary experience, with the restaurant earning Wine Spectator recognition in 2025. From celebratory dinners and milestone moments to leisurely meals and cocktails, King Brasserie has become a go-to destination for locals and visitors alike.
At Peacock Room, the hotel’s intimate and eccentric cocktail lounge, food and beverage intersect with New Orleans’ vibrant music, fashion and creative communities. Local icon Robin Barnes serves as an artist-in-residence, performing every Thursday as part of Da Love Birds. Together, these creative collaborations reinforce Peacock Room’s identity as a vibrant gathering place where music, fashion, sustainability and signature New Orleans swag come together.
As Hotel Fontenot continues to establish itself as a gathering place for locals and visitors, Creedon’s appointment marks a new chapter for the property’s food and beverage program, one rooted in people, place, creativity and the unmistakable spirit of New Orleans.
