Man survives four days trapped in hotel lift | telegraph.co.uk

Hotel owner Thomas Fleetwood was carrying out final checks at the Hotel Eden, in the Austrian ski resort of Bad Gastein, near Salzburg, on Monday, when the property's one-person lift broke down en route from the fifth floor to the ground floor. The 58-year-old had left his mobile in the office and there was no one in the building to call upon for help.
