Amtico is putting on the Glitz - Making Moves on Madison

Proving its commitment to becoming the most exciting and innovative flooring company in the world, The Amtico Company brings a kaleidoscope of new and vibrant 'glitter' floor tiles to its range.

The 'Stardust' tile takes special glitter chips, which are then dispersed into the clear wear layer of the tile; when placed on top of any color tile, a glittering stardust effect is created. Using the company's CAD/CAM design technology, we can supply the tiles in any shape required, giving the designer unlimited design opportunities. The standard range includes twenty two colors; additional colors can also be requested.

On 17th June 1998, Mary Docker, CEO of Amtico International Inc., together with local dignitaries from the USA, broke ground for our new factory in Madison, Morgan County, Georgia. The 16 acre site, in cotton field country, will house our first manufacturing plant outside the UK, with the initial phase being operational in November this year. State Senator Frank Stancil, Madison Mayor, Bruce Gilbert and representatives from the British Consulate and the city of Madison joined the US team which included Tom Corwin, VP Sales and Ken Peckett, VP Finance.
