NEON Ranked No. 7 On Deloitte & Touche Fast 500 List; NEON Revenue Grows by 44,000 % in Five Years
DENVER, Dec. 1 / New Era of Networks, Inc. NEON has been ranked number seven in the U.S. on the Deloitte & Touche list of "Fast 500" companies for 1999. The Technology Fast 500 list ranks the fastest growing technology companies in the U.S. based on percentage of revenue growth over a five-year period. NEON revenues grew 44,070 percent from 1994 through 1998. Other top ten winners in the Internet and software industry include Siebel Systems, Inc.
NEON is the only e-Business Integration provider to be ranked in the top twenty of the list.

Other 1999 awards for the NEON include a number-six-ranking in Forbes ASAP's "Dynamic 100 Technology Companies" and Red Herring's "Top 100 Companies of the Electronic Economy." NEON was also awarded the 1999 Crossroads "Best- of-Show Award" for its e-Business Integration product, and was a Crossroads "99 A-List Award" winner. Ernst & Young named NEON's CEO Rick Adam as the 1999 Entrepreneur of the Year.
In 1998, the International Data Corporation (IDC) recognized NEON as the Fastest Growing Software Provider in the U.S. Also in 1998, NEON won the American Electronics Association (AEA) Technical Achievement Award.
