PSAV Relocates Its Event Technology Warehouse in Dallas

With a new 87,000 square-foot warehouse PSAV® Presentation Services is better equipped to showcase and store its state-of-the-art event equipment while supporting its growing customer base in Texas

LONG BEACH, CA. | PSAV® Presentation Services, the leading supplier of audiovisual and event technology to hotels, associations, producers and meeting planners worldwide, recently relocated its Dallas equipment warehouse and showroom, one of 32 regional offices and warehouses, to Coppell, Texas. A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held last week at the new 87,000 square-foot facility comprised of the company’s Hotel Services, Convention and Tradeshow, Event Services and Show Solutions divisions.

“With more than 1,000 shows in production each day, PSAV is truly a company on the move,’” said Digby Davies, PSAV President and CEO. “We’ve relocated to Coppell for several reasons: The demand for tradeshow / exhibit services in the greater Dallas area -- and the nation overall -- is on the rise. Therefore, as we expand our inventory to meet this demand, we needed a facility that could provide us with the physical space we need today with room to grow in the future. Demand also is on the rise for Show Services, which includes professional audio, video, intelligent lighting and staging equipment supported by even larger rigging, concert sound and widescreen video gear. Finally, demand for digital services and content management is at an all time high, and our Creative Resources team needed more space to incorporate additional capabilities, such as new editing suites.

“It’s an exciting time to be in the event technology business, and we look forward to the many new physical and creative opportunities this facility will afford to our staff and customers,” he said. “With growth at its current pace, we anticipate being able to create many new jobs over the next five years.”

To put the demand for PSAV’s audiovisual and show services into perspective, the company’s Dallas Creative Resources team produced and managed more than 4,300 digital content-management presentations in October alone. Likewise, the Dallas Convention and Tradeshow CAD Department creates an average of 1,800 drawings per month or more than 20,000 per year.

Under the direction of Ali Vafa, Senior Vice President, Hotel Division, and Paul Wedesky, Senior Vice President, Convention and Tradeshow Division, the Dallas facility will feature Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology throughout the plant, new training facilities and a large showroom to display PSAV’s best-in-show presentations, including 3D photorealistic renderings to animated walk throughs allowing customers a real world experience of their future events.

“PSAV is poised for new challenges ahead,” Davies said, “and the new Dallas warehouse is equipped to make our customers’ BIG events comes to life.”

The new facility is located at 925 Freeport Parkway, Suite 100, Coppell, TX 75019. The previous facility was located at 10540 North Stemmons Freeway in Dallas.
