Coral Springs, FL | Vantage Hospitality, the 12th largest hotel company in the world, added another page to the history books when it was made public last month that it is the only hotel company to be included on Inc. Magazine’s prestigious Inc. 500/5000 List of Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies three years in a row. In operation for only nine years, Vantage first made the Inc. 500 list in 2006 when it posted a 307 percent revenue growth over three years.

With a 2008 ranking of 2,930, Vantage is recognized as one of only a handful of companies to outperform over seven million businesses in the U.S. According to Inc. Magazine, the combined revenue for all companies on the 2008 Inc. 5000 list was $185 billion and the median three-year growth was 147 percent.

“The Inc. 5000 gives an unrivalled portrait of young, underreported companies across all industries doing fascinating things with cutting-edge business models, as well as older companies that are still showing impressive growth,” said Inc. 5000 Project Manager, Jim Melloan.

“Being on the Inc. 500/5000 list three years in a row is an honor and validates the success of our innovative Freestyle Brand Membership Model. The model grew our first hotel brand, Americas Best Value Inn, from two to nearly 800 properties in nine years, making it the fastest growing hotel chain in the country for six years in a row,” said Roger Bloss, Founder, President and CEO of Vantage.

Growth for the Americas Best Value Inn brand continues to surge despite a slowing of the economy. Bloss credits the growth of new members to the company’s innovative programs and incentives, including a ‘100% Return On Investment Promise’ and no membership fees on new construction for the first year of operation.

Bloss’ Freestyle Membership Model provides hotel owners with a voice and a vote in the direction of the brand; low, flat fees and short-term contracts; and a wide choice of amenities to meet local and regional needs.

Vantage introduced the Membership Model to the three and four diamond hotel brand segment in 2007 with the creation of The Lexington Collection. The brand has seen substantial growth since it premiered and has properties throughout North America and China. Vantage continues to aggressively expand its hotel brands domestically, as well as through international markets including India, China, and Canada.

Award-Winning Marketing Impacts Brand

In addition to the Inc. 500/5000 award, the creative excellence of Vantage’s marketing department was recognized by its industry peers with nine awards of excellence to date this year. Its “Too Close for Comfort” integrated marketing campaign garnered the most with four, including two gold awards.

Vantage was honored by these top national and international organizations: The Association of Marketing & Communication Professionals (Hermes Awards); Apogee Awards (First place and Best of Category, Travel & Tourism); American Business Awards; and the 2008 Award of Distinction from the International Academy of the Visual Arts, Communicators Awards.

“I’m extremely proud of the outstanding ingenuity of our marketing staff. These awards showcase the range of creativity and team effort necessary to develop campaigns that reach both consumers and hospitality professionals. The campaigns certainly contributed to Vantage’s growth,” said Peter Frantz, Vantage’s marketing director.
