Milan's most well-renowned five-star hotel, Il Principe di Savoia, has extended its partnership with Swisscom Hospitality Services as an Internet provider servicing its guest rooms, meeting rooms and public area. The renewal underlines the viability of Swisscom's approach to servicing hoteliers and their guests in the top-hotel segment.

Hotel Principe di Savoia, a member of the Dorchester Collection, has been building its unique reputation on latest innovations in technology and design as much as on timeless World luxury. Its 401 guest rooms are covered by a seamless wireless infrastructure, while its meeting area, which can host up to 1'000 guests, offers superior Internet connectivity at 30 Mb/s through a dedicated conference network. Swisscom pro-actively manages all IT components and bandwidth. A dedicated Swisscom account manager consults the hotel management and acts as an interface between the hotel staff and the various technical teams servicing the hotel and its guests.

In the meantime, the collaboration has broadened to include joint IT infrastructure planning and daily business support, especially for the Banqueting department where the Swisscom Account Manager helps facilitate event planning with the hotel's corporate clients.
