Bravo Burnaby Festival showcases Burnaby art, music and entertainment!

Now in its second year, Bravo Burnaby! returns to provide three fun-filled weekends showcasing the best in Burnaby art, culture and entertainment. Locals and visitors alike are expected to flock to Bravo Burnaby! events throughout the city, running on weekends from May 28 -- June 13, 2010.

Annual favourites return again this year with highlights including the 26th annual Hats off to Heights. Repeatedly voted the best Burnaby festival, join the merchants of the Heights Shopping District on June 5, as they tip their hats off to their loyal customers with food, Burnaby music and dance, a community parade and more. The 13th Annual European Festival is another Metro Vancouver favourite with day-long live performances, food and beer sampling and entertainment for everyone.

Bravo Burnaby! also features new additions to this year including Metropolis at Metrotown's Animal Grossology and CBC's Hockey Night in Canada Play On! Festival. Kids of all ages will be engrossed by Metropolis at Metrotown's latest indoor exhibit -- Animal Grossology, kicking off May 15 and running through the summer until August 15, 2010. Burnaby is also proud to welcome Canada's largest sports festival - Play On! Street hockey players of ages and skill levels are invited to participate in Play On! while on going festivities will be sure to please and entertain all spectators.

With more than 30 events at this year's Bravo Burnaby, visitors are encouraged to make a weekend of it! Located just 15 minutes from downtown Vancouver, Burnaby hotels offer a great location to take in all of Bravo Burnaby! as well as provide easy access to the rest of Metro Vancouver.
