HOFEX - Asia's leading food and hospitality tradeshow has now reached its 14th edition, and will take place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 11-14 May 2011. With a resounding track record, HOFEX 2011, organised by Allworld member Hong Kong exhibition Services Ltd., (HKES) will continue to attract globally based attendees who are involved in the decision making process within their companies. In today's technology driven market, business productivity and prosperity has become increasingly dependent on the successful integration of business technology. To complement the specialised technology area in HOFEX 2011, HKES is partnering with Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP®), producers of Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference (HITEC®), to host a brand new conference - Asian Hospitality Technology Education Conference AHTEC@HOFEX.
This new Asian conference is designed to deliver to the Asian hospitality industry a direct vehicle for expert perspectives on the evolving technology market. AHTEC@HOFEX will be held in conjunction with HOFEX, 11th and 12th May , 2011 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre. To help attract and provide a service to Mainland visitors, the Conference will be simultaneously translated into Mandarin.
"We see the growing demand for technology associated with the rapidly growing hospitality industry in Asia. Our new partnership with HFTP, together with our specialised Hospitality IT exhibition, is a significant step to help hotels, restaurants, membership clubs and bars to move forward and facilitate smooth operations in their growing business," stated Daniel Cheung, General Manager of HKES.

HFTP will form an international Advisory Council and an Asian based advisory board will be appointed by HFTP, HKES and Pertlink to select the education program for the conference, with a focus on hospitality technology issues important to the region. The council and conference is chaired by Terence Ronson, managing director of Pertlink Limited, a leading Hospitality IT Consultancy based in Hong Kong who has also been working with HOFEX for several years.
