The Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) announced its eighth annual “who’s who” list of the Top 25 Most Extraordinary Minds in Hospitality and Travel Sales and Marketing. The honorees, who have habitually exemplified traits indicative of the best sales and marketing professionals in the hospitality, travel and tourism industries, will be honored during a private ceremony preceding the HSMAI Adrian Awards Gala on Jan. 31, 2011, at the New York Marriott Marquis, and recognized at the Gala.

“The honorees on this year’s Top 25 list have displayed a pattern of excellence, inspiration and top-notch results in their respective industries,” said Robert A. Gilbert, CHME, CHA, president and CEO of HSMAI. “The list is a who’s who of sales and marketing professionals from the worlds of hospitality, travel and tourism.” Recipients were nominated through a “call for entries” to the industry at-large and judged by a panel of senior industry executives. Nominators were asked to submit specific sales and marketing accomplishments of the nominee with examples that support the individual’s implementation of an innovative strategy, the story of overcoming a specific challenge, or the development/implementation of a cutting-edge campaign.
