Kempinski to Manage Royal Spa Kitzbühel Hotel, Austria
Luxury hotel management group signed LOI for the five-star hotel at Jochberg near Kitzbühel
Kempinski Hotels plans to take over the Royal Spa Kitzbühel in Jochberg at the beginning of the winter season, making it the group's second hotel in Austria. An appropriate letter of intent has been signed between Kempinski Hotels and PORR Solutions Immobilien- und Infrastrukturprojekte GmbH and Ambo GmbH, the owners of the luxury property in Jochberg in the Kitzbühel Alps.
The collaboration with this experienced hotel group was already proven successful with the signing of the Palais Hansen Kempinski project in Vienna," concluded Allgemeinen Baugesellschaft – A. PORR AG CEO Karl-Heinz Strauss and PORR Solutions Managing Director Friedrich Gruber. The hotel will be closed from the beginning of August 2011, allowing for its facilities to be upgraded during the summer months, in order to ensure they are in line with Kempinski's standards. The hotel will reopen its doors under Kempinski management and with a new positioning which will also be reflected in the design and a new name on December 7, 2011, at the beginning of the winter season.
