PERTH AMBOY, NJ -- Monarch Robe & Towel Co., a leading supplier of bed & bath linens to the global hospitality industry, has signed an exclusive agreement with internationally recognized Irish linen company Lissadell Liddell Ireland Ltd. to add a full rage of luxurious Liddell bedding products to their already expansive line of hotel linens. The new agreement allows Monarch-Cypress to offer Liddell-branded sheets, pillowcases and duvets to their hotel and resort clients throughout the United States, Canada and the Caribbean. Lissadell and Liddell are among the most well known brands of fine bed & bath linens in the upscale hotel market in Europe and the Middle East. This venture brings those prominent names to the North American market, and strengthens Monarch-Cypress’s position as the premier supplier of bed & bath solutions to 4- and 5-star hotels in that region.
Monarch-Cypress, which was recently formed when Monarch Robe & Towel Company acquired long-time rival Cypress Bathrobes, plans to expand their partnership with Lissadell Liddell Ireland over the coming months, in order to offer their hotel clients an even more comprehensive product range, such as down pillows, comforters and table linens.
Lissadell Liddell is known worldwide for their quality range of bed, bath & table linens. The Irish company is headquartered in Dublin, where the full product design and development team is located. Part of the Vision Support Services group of companies in the UK, Lissadell Liddell utilizes the strong resources of the VSS organization to manufacture its linen collections, adhering to strict quality control guidelines throughout the network of VSS offices in India, China, Pakistan and Turkey.
The Lissadell brand was first introduced to the US during the 1980’s, when the company launched its collection with the Omni Group of hotels in New York, and has since supplied linens for the Fitzpatrick Group, St Regis Group, Doyle Collection and Peabody Hotels. Liddell’s first venture to the U.S. began onboard the infamous Titanic cruise ship, when the captain’s table was laid with the very best Irish linen from the Liddell collection. Though the ship never reached shore, the reputation of fine Liddell linens prevailed.
