– Scandic is growing and we are constantly looking for new locations for our hotel projects. This hotel will be a great supplement to our existing hotel in the city, Scandic Solsiden. A big conference hotel in Trondheim is something we have been working for a long time and we are very proud about having signed the contract with the property owner. This will be a modern, inspiring hotel where Scandics concept will be easily recognized, for example the sustainability and accessibility issues, says Svein Arild Mevold, Country Vice President, Scandic Norway.
– It feels great to start a new hotel project together with Scandic. The construction work starts already this month. The hotel will be 75 meters high with 20 levels, says Arthur Buchardt, investor and building contractor.
