As Revenue Management becomes an ever growing force to be considered in the hospitality industry, a panel of top experts will be putting Revenue Management's contribution to the profession under the microscope at HOSPACE 2012.
- 'Taking the Investment Forward – Making the Most of the Investment in Your People and Business to Create Value' is the title of HOSPACE 2012, HOSPA's Annual Conference and Exhibition for Hospitality Finance, Revenue Management, IT and Commercial Professionals to be held on 22 November
As Revenue Management becomes an ever growing force to be considered in the hospitality industry, a panel of top experts will be putting Revenue Management's contribution to the profession under the microscope at HOSPACE 2012.
Under the astute chairmanship of Professor Peter Jones MBE – Director Wentworth Jones – a leading panel of hospitality Revenue Management, practitioners and authorities on the subject will scrutinise the topic: 'What is the Revenue Management contribution to strategy and future leadership in hospitality?'
Commenting on the HOSPACE 2012 Revenue Management discussion, Warren Mandelbaum said: "Revenue Management is a well established force to be considered – its practices tightly interwoven within the fabric of any commercially-led organisation. This multi-faceted function has evolved from a purely tactical one which focuses on yield, to one encompassing numerous areas and impacting Marketing, Sales, Distribution, Technology and Social Media to name a few. Should Revenue Management strategy be out of place with respect to the market, the entire organisation will be negatively impacted. With a greater responsibility placed on Revenue Management, we have seen a heightened level of strategic influence that affects key business decisions."
Mandelbaum then outlined some of the key questions to be addressed on 22 November by the HOSPACE 2012 Revenue Management panellists, including 'Is the Revenue Management contribution to future strategy vital to its overall success?' and 'What potential do Revenue Managers have to be leaders and what qualities will they need to enhance to do so?'
HOSPACE 2012 is designed for Hospitality Finance, Revenue Management, IT and Commercial Professionals. Other highlights include: a special 'Leaders Panel' of distinguished hotel industry executives examining the current hottest hospitality issues, trends and developments; a top-level Finance Panel discussion on 'Getting the Wheels of Finance to turn again'; a 'Hospitality IT Debate' entitled: 'Can outsourced IT services really support the needs of Hospitality IT for both internal business requirements and guest services?'; and a programme of industry specific educational workshops – all led by leading specialists in their subjects.
HOSPACE will be again be held at the Sofitel London Heathrow, Terminal 5, and supported by a growing and increasingly influential exhibition of hospitality technology solutions – providing delegates with a 'one stop shop' to view and interact with the latest and 'best in class' technologies – covering all eventualities for any hospitality business, whether they be start-up, established independent, or multi chain-owned, operations.
