Inversiones La Rioja Expands Marriott Portfolio with Courtyard by Marriott in Lima, Peru
Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE: MAR) announced plans to open a new 150-room Courtyard by Marriott Hotel in Lima, South America's third largest city, under an agreement with Inversiones La Rioja, S.A., a distinguished Peruvian corporation which owns the existing 300-room JW Marriott Lima and 153-room JW Marriott Cusco. The hotel will be situated at the intersection of Calle Alcanfores and Calle Schell in Lima's upscale Miraflores...

In addition to 150 guest rooms, the hotel will feature the brand's refreshing business lobby, a casual dining restaurant, ample meeting space and recreational facilities include a swimming pool and a fitness center. It will also feature Courtyard's new relaxing interior design for the guestrooms.
Marriott International is currently represented in Peru by the 300-room JW Marriott Lima and the 150-room JW Marriott Cuzco.
