Restel Selects Quadriga’s Sensiq For Nine Properties In Finland To Drive Enhanced Guest Satisfaction
Restel Ltd is installing Quadriga's TV-based guest communications platform, Sensiq, in nine of its hotels in Finland, incorporating over 1900 rooms. The contract covers seven Holiday Inn properties and the Crowne Plaza Helsinki, managed by Restel, as well as the historic Hotelli Seurahuone Helsinki. Restel operates 49 hotels in Finland, serving both business travellers and leisure guests.
Quadriga's established Sensiq platform will enable the hotels to enhance their guest communication and deliver tailored promotional content related to the hotels and their services. Guests will enjoy an intuitive TV viewing experience, with access to a superb choice of in-room guest entertainment, including a wide selection of TV channels displayed in the guest's own language, IPTV and a compelling choice of pre-DVD movie releases on-demand.
Going forward, Sensiq will give the hotel the flexibility to upgrade with additional features and functionality, potentially adding powerful new customisation capabilities. A key benefit for Restel is the ability to promote its restaurants, bars and hotel services to guests, as well as potentially the services of third parties.
Jari Laine, Vice President, Hotel Division for Restel, says, "The decision to upgrade our guest communication solution was part of an overall programme to enhance guest satisfaction and to promote our services to guests. We had no hesitation in selecting Quadriga, with whom we have worked for a number of years, and whose Genesis Internet and entertainment platform has been installed in a number of our hotels for several years. The Sensiq solution is a natural evolution for us, providing a future-proof solution for our guest communication requirements."
Rolf Christen, Quadriga's Area Managing Director, North, East and Central Europe comments, "We are delighted to be continuing our partnership with Restel and to be helping drive enhanced guest satisfaction across nine of its properties in Finland. We are constantly working to evolve Sensiq to meet the changing needs of hoteliers and their guests and believe that it will provide exactly the right solution to respond to Restel's increasingly tech savvy guests as well as to deliver a superb guest experience. Additionally, with the ability to communicate directly to guests with tailored promotional content, Sensiq will enable the hotels to drive new revenue opportunities."
Sensiq is planned to be installed in four of the hotels during Spring 2013, followed by the remaining five in the Autumn.
