The Master graduation ceremony was held on 2nd September 2014, on the campus of (EHL). The 18 graduates of the "Master in Hospitality Administration" received their diplomas and various prestigious academic awards during the evening event. This 12-month intense MBA program is taught in English and is intended for students wishing to enter the hotel and catering sectors and for those with experience of the hospitality business who wish to advance their careers.

The program provides solid competences in finance and management, with a strong focus on hotel and hospitality sectors, allowing candidates to convert their projects into profitable ventures.

This EMBA programme of Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne is a diploma accredited in Switzerland by the HES-SO (University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Western Switzerland) and the "New England Association of Schools and Colleges" (NEASC, USA).

The quality of the curriculum and its double accreditation allow students to pursue their studies in order to obtain a PhD in many countries.

The highly international class included 17 nationalities, and a truly multicultural group.

Introduced in 2000, the EHL Spirit Award rewards students who, during their studies at EHL, devote a particularly high proportion of their time and energy to the good of the School and its students. Its special feature is that the students themselves elect one of their classmates to receive the award. A Baume & Mercier watch is presented to the laureate by Mr. Alain Zimmermann, CEO, and Ms. Valerie de Corte, Director Alumni Network, presents the student with a lifetime membership.

The prizes for the graduates of the 2014 Executive MBA in Hospitality Administration were offered by Baume & Mercier, Hotela, FRHI Hotels & Resorts (Swissôtel), Hyatt International, CitizenM, Jumeirah Group, Edmond de Rothschild Suisse and the EHL alumni.
