Still time to win a 2014 HOSPA Career Investment Development Scholarship for unrivalled opportunity at HOSPACE 2014

There is still time to apply for both the HOSPA Career and Future Career Investment Development Scholarships, and benefit from HOSPA's annual HOSPACE 2014 Conference and Exhibition – the largest and most prestigious gathering of hospitality finance, revenue management, IT and commercial professionals in the UK. The deadline for entries has been extended to Friday, 7 November 2014.

The 2014 HOSPA Scholarship Awards offer the 10 lucky winners an unrivalled opportunity to be noticed and publicly recognised for their outstanding achievements in the work place and the classroom. The prize comprises a full day's attendance at HOSPA's highly acclaimed annual Conference and Exhibition – HOSPACE 2014 – on 20 November at the Sofitel London Heathrow, Terminal 5. In addition, there will be places at the Conference Dinner where their achievements will be recognised. Each recipient also will be featured in a future edition of the monthly HOSPA journal, The Overview.

"It is vitally important to attract talented young people and develop their skills in the rewarding key disciplines of hospitality Finance, Revenue Management and IT," said HOSPA Chief Executive Carl Weldon. "With this in mind, HOSPA is delighted to announce 'Career Investment Development Scholarship' opportunities for five upcoming young people 30 years old and under on 7 November 2014, working in hospitality Finance, Revenue Management and IT; and 'Future Career Investment Development Scholarships' for five aspiring final-year hospitality students, who have excelled in their current studies, and are planning to start their hospitality industry careers in Autumn 2015.

Criteria for HOSPA Scholarships

The HOSPA 2014 Career Investment Development Scholarship criteria for upcoming young people (30 years old and under on 7 November), working in hospitality Finance, Revenue Management and IT application are:

• Candidates must be 30 years or younger on 7 November 2014
• Candidates must be employed in a hospitality organisation – working in finance, revenue management or IT
• Candidates must have been working in the industry for a minimum of twelve months
• Only one application per company
• Applications must be accompanied by a CV and letter outlining why the candidate should be considered
• Candidates must be nominated by one senior hospitality industry manager.

The HOSPA 2014 Future Career Investment Development Scholarship criteria for application for aspiring hospitality students who have excelled in their current studies are:

• Candidates must be 30 years or younger on 7 November 2014
• Candidates must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate course related to hospitality at a UK University or College
• Candidates must be in the FINAL year of their studies
• Candidates must be nominated by their course leader
• A course leader can only nominate one student
• Applications must be accompanied by a CV and letter outlining why the candidate should be considered.
