"We are delighted to arrive in Chad. Africa is our most important development market – we are committed to an asset-light, profitable and sustainable growth on this powerful continent and look forward to growing further together with strong regional partners", said Wolfgang M. Neumann, President & CEO of Rezidor. The company is now present in 24 African countries and holds the largest pipeline of hotels and rooms under development on the continent.

The Radisson Blu Hotel N'Djamena will be located just outside the city center - in close proximity to embassies and commercial areas. The building overlooking the Chari river is already under construction. The hotel will comprise 175 rooms with signature services such as free high speed internet access. Further offers will include a lobby bar, two restaurants and more than 1,300sqm of meeting space. In addition, the property will have three amphitheaters, an assembly hall, a health club, an outdoor pool, tennis courts and large parking facilities. Business guests will benefit from a total of 12,500sqm of conference & event space – the largest offer in the region.

Chad is located in Central Africa. Over the past years, this emerging country has experienced a surge in economic growth driven by the oil industry: Chad started production and export of oil in 2003, and the Chad-Cameroon pipeline has been one of the largest infrastructure development projects in Africa.
