NEW YORK (March 27, 2015) ─ On the heels of its successful 10th anniversary Incentive Travel Exchange (ITE) celebration, Questex Travel Group today announced it is accepting applications for its ITE at Sea event, the latest addition to the company's Global Meetings and Incentive Travel Exchanges (GMITE) portfolio, designed for qualified buyers and premier travel suppliers seeking to maximize their incentive travel business.
The invitation-only, one-to-one networking event will take place Oct. 21-24 aboard Royal Caribbean International's Oasis of the Seas® cruise ship, departing from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with Nassau, Bahamas as its port of call.
"This spectacular, three-day voyage will be filled with exclusive networking opportunities, incredible entertainment and one-to-one hosted buyer appointments," said Danielle Cirami-Gillis, Questex vice president of event sales. "Attendees will enjoy beautiful Nassau and conduct valuable business designed to provide a strong return on investment."
The sold out 2015 ITE program held in Las Vegas achieved record attendance and sales, according to Cirami-Gillis, who attributes success to a format of focused, one-to-one meetings with buyers and suppliers in private suites and a high level of value and service.
In addition to its flagship ITE event, the GMITE portfolio also includes Caribbean Meeting & Incentive Travel Exchange (CMITE), to be held Aug. 10-13 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic; Latin America Meeting & Incentive Travel Exchange (LAMITE), to be held June 25-28 at the Real InterContinental in San Jose, Costa Rica; and Asia Meeting & Incentive Travel Exchange (AMITE), to be held July 1 at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.
Lori Cassidy, director of global corporate, incentive & charter sales for Royal Caribbean International, said ITE at Sea is a "great opportunity to partner with Questex."
"Royal Caribbean International is an award-winning global cruise brand with a 45-year legacy of innovation and introducing industry firsts never before seen at sea," she said. "We appreciate the opportunity to partner with Questex on their first ITE at Sea event and commend Questex for delivering great events that match the right buyers and suppliers for their business needs."
