As you'd expect The Plaza's concierge has received many unusual requests over the years and it's not just from famous patrons. One guest requested two dozen tarantulas for a special dinner be shipped to his home - The Plaza honoured this request. This iconic hotel on Fifth hasn't just acted as a hotel, it's appeared in over 50 films, hosted numerous famous weddings (Donald Trump, Eddie Murphy, Kelsey Grammar, Michael Douglas) and held a live recording session with Miles Davis, Duke Ellington and Billie Holiday.
