Hilton Worldwide Opens its First Hotel in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province

NINGBO-CHUNXIAO, China and MCLEAN, Va. -- Hilton Worldwide (NYSE: HLT) and DoubleTree by Hiltonthis week announced the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Ningbo-Chunxiao, the first Hilton Worldwide hotel in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. DoubleTree by Hilton Ningbo-Chunxiao, the 26^th DoubleTree by Hilton hotel to open in China, is operated by Hilton Worldwide and owned by Shimao Group (HK813). Hilton Worldwide now has more than 60 hotels operating across China and 180 more in the pipeline.

Ningbo is one of the busiest port cities in the world and home to a thriving garment industry. DoubleTree by Hilton Ningbo-Chunxiao is located in Binhai New City, Beilun District, one of six major urban precincts in Ningbo currently undergoing rapid development. DoubleTree by Hilton Ningbo-Chunxiao is the only international five-star hotel in Chunxiao and is situated about 55 kilometers from Ningbo Lishe International Airport and 50 kilometers from Ningbo High-speed Train Station.
