On Jan. 25, 2016, the Cornell School of Hotel Administration (SHA) will once again offer a free online course, Introduction to Global Hospitality Management. Much like its successful inaugural run in the winter of 2015, which boasted more than 14,000 course registrations during its open enrollment period, this Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), hosted by edX is open for registration to all who are seeking to expand their knowledge of—or advance their career within—the global hospitality industry and offers participants the ability to grow their experience in hospitality management through the convenience of online learning.

Led by renowned Cornell University faculty, this free course—Introduction to Global Hospitality Management—features international industry experts and explores this dynamic and diverse industry from four engaging perspectives:

  • Strategic management and planning
  • Real estate and asset management
  • Ecommerce and marketing
  • Human resources management

Participants are invited to audit the course for free, or pursue a Verified Certificate of Achievement for a minimum fee.
