HSMAI Washington DC Chapter to Host Government Travel Program

The Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International's Washington, D.C., chapter will host a government travel educational program for area hospitality industry professionals Thursday beginning at 11:30 a.m. in the Hilton Crystal City at Washington Reagan National Airport in Arlington, Virginia.

WASHINGTON -- The Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International's Washington, D.C., chapter will host a government travel educational program for area hospitality industry professionals Thursday beginning at 11:30 a.m. in the Hilton Crystal City at Washington Reagan National Airport in Arlington, Virginia.

Dane Swenson, chief of travel transformation at the Defense Travel Management Office, Office of the Under Secretary of Defense, Personnel and Readiness, will provide an overview of his department and discuss the National Defense Transportation Association's top priorities and challenges.

"This event is designed to help hotel professionals in the Washington metropolitan area learn more about serving the government market," said Ellen Wilson, HSMAI Washington DC Chapter managing director. "Attendees also will enjoy opportunities for networking and exchanging ideas."

Registration and a networking reception will begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by a luncheon and the guest speaker's presentation from noon to 1:15 p.m. The cost is $45 for HSMAI members and $55 for nonmembers. Click HERE to register.
