This December, the Park Inn by Radisson Trysil Mountain Resort will be rebranded to Radisson Blu Mountain Resort & Residences. With a bigger outdoor arena and new concepts like Super Breakfast and Experience Meetings, Europe's leading upper upscale hotel brand is set to enhance the guest experience.

"Our aim is to give our guests the best possible hotel experiences and with Radisson Blu's well-known service concepts we will do our utmost to give our guests exactly that", says Pontus Åkesson, General Manager at Radisson Blu Trysil Mountain Resort & Residences.

Radisson Blu is well-known for its award-winning service concepts, such as Super Breakfast and Experience Meetings. As of December 2016, the guests can continue to enjoy all the former features of Park Inn by Radisson plus the comforts and signatures of the iconic, stylish and sophisticated, Radisson Blu brand. The resort has 369 rooms and suites, 166 apartments and is located in the middle of the ski-resort Trysil.

"We are excited that we are now able to offer our guests two upper-upscale resorts in Trysil and continue to give our international guests the best possible guest experiences in the area", commented Tom Flanagan, Area Vice President of Rezidor Hotel Group in the Nordics. "Further building on our international success as the leading Meetings & Events provider in the hospitality sector, our two Radisson Blu resorts in Norway's largest ski destination, have everything to cater for extraordinary meetings in extraordinary destinations," said Flanagan.

Radisson Blu is one of the world's leading hotel brands with nearly 300 hotels in operation in 69 countries and territories. The hotel group focuses on leading-edge style and design and is well-known for its unique, award-winning Yes I Can! service philosophy.

International Upper Upscale hospitality experience in the mountains
The Radisson Blu Mountain Resort & Residences hotel has improved its service offer and will now offer the guests 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, 24-hours open reception and Radisson Blu's popular breakfast buffet Super Breakfast. All 369 rooms and suites has facilities like free, high-speed Wi-Fi, many with a stunning view over the grand Trysil mountains.

"We have added glass around the entire 150 square meter outdoor restaurant to have more space for our guests at our popular lunch and after-ski. We are also expanding our evening menu and aim to be the best place for our guests to end a full day of skiing", says Åkesson.

Two Radisson Blu resorts in Norway's largest ski destination
Located 802 meters above sea level and with 67 slopes and endless cross-country skiing trails right outside the door, Radisson Blu Mountain Resort & Residences has been a popular choice for ski-enthusiasts since 2011. Kulpen Spa boasts an indoor swimming pool, sauna, fitness area and 12 treatment rooms and with 8 versatile conference rooms, this Trysil hotel can accommodate a variety of business and personal events.

In addition to the newly rebranded Radisson Blu Mountain Resort & Residence, the all-year open Radisson Blu Resort Trysil is located close to the city center and the nature. The hotel opened in 2008 and during wintertime the hotel offers ski in/ski-out and during the summer the guests can enjoy bike in/ bike-out. Radisson Blu invites you to follow your curiosity and think in Blu. The first hotel, opened as the SAS Hotel in Denmark in 1960, was designed by acclaimed architect Arne Jacobsen and was heralded as the first design-forward hotel, a hallmark retained by the brand today. The new Radisson Blu logo honors this heritage of functional Scandinavian design.
