DoubleTree by Hilton Adds Five Hotels to its Thriving UK Portfolio

DoubleTree by Hilton, one of Hilton's (NYSE: HLT) 14 market-leading brands, is set to add five new hotels to its rapidly expanding UK portfolio, following a franchise agreement between real estate investment company Aprirose and Hilton. The hotels will be managed by RBH - formerly Redefine|BDL Hotels - and are located in Stratford-upon-Avon, Oxford, Glasgow, Cambourne, and Forest Pines (Yorkshire) and are expected to welcome their first guests under the upscale brand later this year.

• DoubleTree by Hilton Forest Pines Hotel & Golf Resort is set in 190 acres of Yorkshire woodland and includes an award-winning 27-hole golf course. The 188 guestroom hotel incorporates significant meeting space, and an upmarket spa and health club.
• DoubleTree by Hilton Oxford Belfry includes 154 rooms and extensive meetings and events space. Situated within 17 acres of landscaped gardens, the hotel is popular for weddings and events and includes a spa and health club. Guests staying at the hotel will benefit from convenient access to Oxford's historic city centre and university, Bicester Village designer outlet and from London and the Midlands via its nearby transport links.
• DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Westerwood Hotel & Golf Resort is an established rural resort with an 18-hole golf course, and meeting space for up to 400 delegates. The 148 guestroom hotel includes a spa, health club and two restaurants.
• DoubleTree by Hilton Cambridge Belfry is located in Cambourne on the outskirts of the famous university city. Guests at the 120 room hotel can enjoy the lakeside vistas, a spa and health club, and modern meeting space. The property is primed to cater for the many businesses, technology and research companies based in the surrounding area.
• DoubleTree by Hilton Stratford-upon-Avon is situated in the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon. The hotel has 102 guestrooms, a fine dining restaurant and fully equipped gym. Stratford is one of the UK's most appealing visitor attractions, and guests to the hotel can follow in the footsteps of the world's most famous playwright, William Shakespeare. Steeped in Tudor culture, Stratford is home to The Royal Shakespeare Theatre, and close to the medieval fortress of Warwick Castle.
