Shinola Hotel in Detroit has installed an "I Voted" vitrine in the lobby showcasing Shinola's I Voted Detrola watch in partnership with I am a voter.® along with a QR code that will bring guests to the resources they need to get themselves registered, informed, and prepared for the polls. Signage and flags will be displayed throughout the hotel and both guests and the public will be encouraged to utilize the resource from now leading up to election day. The hotel is also supporting their team by offering staff a paid holiday on November 3rd, assistance with voting registration, mail in ballots and district voting information.
