Luxury Hotelschool Paris launches VET by EHL Hotel Administration Program

Hosted by the lavish Salon Opera at InterContinental Paris, students of the Luxury Hotelschool Paris received a memorable welcome to the VET by EHL program.

The students were introduced to the program with a class in Service Techniques in the newly renovated restaurant "Le Charles" named after the school president's great grandfather, Charles Bouvier. Mr. Charles Bouvier's hospitality career highlight took place over 100 years ago on the French Presidential train where he was responsible for banquets.

All students who attend the Luxury Hotelschool Paris are encouraged to acquire an understanding of operations in all the departments of a hotel before taking supervision and management positions. "The combination of the practical and theoretical approach is very interesting and challenging", says Amanda, a student in her first year. "Being able to put into practice what we are learning in a high-end setting like "Le Charles" allows us to assimilate new concepts more quickly and to implement the specific techniques and the attitudes expected in the world of luxury. As a VET by EHL Licensed Center, Luxury Hotelschool Paris currently has 24 students enrolled in the Hotel Administration program which launched earlier this month.

"This professional diploma by EHL is a great opportunity for French students to add the best hotel management school in the world to their resume, alongside the Luxury Hotelschool Paris which adds a specialisation in ultra-luxury," said Arnaud Bouvier, President of the Luxury Hotelschool Paris. "This prestigious alternative to the classic French two-year diploma in hospitality (BTS) also prepares students to progress to the Bachelor's degree."
