As hotels gear up to reopen on May 17, a collection of properties in London has teamed up to offer discounted stays and "value-added packages" to encourage bookings in the capital.

Organised by marketing agency MMGY Global, Hotel Week London will comprise exclusive offers and rates at 35 participating hotels from May 28 until June 6. Some hotels will extend their promotions until the end of June to allow for multiple stays and longer booking opportunities.

Each hotel has also designed its own special packages, with experiences ranging from room upgrades to cocktail-creation classes and transfers by vintage car from London stations.

Reservations can be made at the dedicated Hotel Week London website, with customers able to either click through to the hotel's website or to call them directly and quote 'Hotel Week London'.

MMGY Global stated that in a bid to "support the London hotel sector and the British travel industry", all London hotels have been offered free access to the promotion.
