Hilton Welcomes New Talent as it Embraces Continued Business Growth After Filling Almost 4,000 Positions Across The UK & Ireland in 2021

Hilton (NYSE: HLT) is offering more than 1,000 new roles across its hotels in the UK and Ireland, as it embraces business growth and while travel strengthens with easing restrictions.

London, UK Hilton (NYSE: HLT) is offering more than 1,000 new roles across its hotels in the UK and Ireland, as it embraces business growth and while travel strengthens with easing restrictions.

With nine new hotel openings planned for 2022, including Hampton by Hilton Bath City, Hilton Garden Inn Silverstone and Lost Property St. Paul’s London, Curio Collection by Hilton, the company anticipates growing demand as international travel resumes.

The hiring announcement follows a strong year for recruitment at Hilton in 2021, despite the continued shifting of Covid restrictions. Over the past 12 months Hilton successfully welcomed nearly 4,000 new Team Members across the UK and Ireland, including 38 through the UK government’s Kickstart scheme to help 16–24-year-olds into work.

Ranking as #1 on the UK’s Best Workplaces list, Hilton is offering a variety of roles across different job levels. From entry level opportunities such as Food and Beverage Assistants, to managerial roles like Conference and Banquet Directors, Hilton provides a world of opportunities for professional and personal development. By working with organisations such as Foxes Academy, Springboard, the Armed Forces, as well as participating in the Kickstart scheme, Hilton is constantly widening its talent pool and working towards an even more diverse workforce. After almost 100 apprentices joined in 2021, Hilton aims to recruit another 350 apprentices over the course of this year, with 30 apprenticeships currently on offer across areas including Front Desk, Food & Beverage, and Housekeeping.

Hilton’s apprenticeship programme provides a structured training plan to help participants gain the skills and knowledge for a successful career in hospitality. Apprentices are mentored and trained by experienced Team Members as they learn the art of hospitality and work towards a nationally recognised diploma.

Rabee Bond, aged 19, began his apprenticeship at Hilton Watford and now works as a Food and Beverage Team Leader.
