Accor has increased its strategic investment in dailypoint™ to 27%. The Munich-based Toedt, Dr. Selk & Coll. GmbH (TSC) with its dailypoint™ Data Management platform, is intensifying its cooperation with Accor, the sixth-largest hotel company in the world. Accor had already secured a 21% stake in TSC in November 2019. This is linked to an even closer technical collaboration with D-EDGE, Accor's large distribution, and CRS platform.

"We have strongly pushed the technical merger with D-EDGE over the last two years and the results have been extremely positive. It is, therefore, a logical development and a confirmation of the work that has made us the leading central data management platform in the hotel industry," said Dr. Michael Toedt, Managing Partner and one of the three founders of dailypoint™ alongside Dr. Robert Selk, a specialist in IT law and data protection, and Rainer Aumiller, the company's CIO.

One of the major USPs of dailypoint™, the creation of the important central guest profile, was decisive for Accor's entry and the cooperation with D-EDGE. dailypoint™ automatically cleanses data from various sources and enriches guest knowledge using artificial intelligence. The central guest profile is the basis for an individualised guest interaction in all areas of a guest's customer journey. From a Big Data perspective it means, that with the help of dailypoint™, hotels can transform the available data into a real company asset.
