ARLINGTON, Va. – Brisbane’s hotel industry posted its highest January average daily rate (ADR) and revenue per available room (RevPAR) on record, according to preliminary data from CoStar. CoStar is a leading global provider of commercial real estate data, analytics and news.
January 2025 (year-over-year % change):
- Occupancy: 68.2% (+2.9%)
- ADR: AUD225.92 (+10.1%)
- RevPAR: AUD154.01 (+13.2%)
Additionally, the market’s occupancy was the highest for January since 2007 (69.6%).
Performance spiked on the nights of Luke Combs’ “Down Under” concerts held at Suncorp Stadium on 24-25 January. Levels peaked across the metrics that Saturday—occupancy (85.4%), ADR (AUD350.98), RevPAR (AUD299.87)—which overlapped with a long holiday weekend for Australia Day.
Brisbane’s occupancy came in above the 60% mark in all but five days during January.
